This course focuses on fundamental techniques and keys students can use to awaken to Spirit in a greater way. In the five-week version, students are also given opportunities to experience active meditation and spiritual exercises as taught in MSIA. They then learn to detach from those things that have been limiting them and to open themselves to experience the true freedom upon which Spirit rides. Students learn more about letting go and letting God direct their lives for our highest good and chanting the names of God to attune themselves to the Spirit within and raise their consciousnesses on a daily basis. Prayer becomes a dynamic and participatory activity. Listening to the Spirit within, forgiving ourselves and others, and unconditional loving can lift us and head us in God's direction. Forgiveness gives the opportunity to participate in life as a statement of caring, sharing and nurturing. By practicing forgiveness, students take authority over themselves and realize that there is never a good reason to withdraw loving. TO THE CHRIST WITHIN This workshop is designed to offer an experience of the student's own divine nature and of his oneness with God. It does not matter what religious background he might be. It does not even matter if he really believes in God or not, because this workshop does not deal with beliefs. TO THE THREE SELVES The three selves work together through channels of communication to help us awaken to our Soul: The High Self, the keeper of the life plan, will send information about the life blueprint down to the Basic Self, and the Basic Self will filter it up to the Conscious Self through the unconscious and subconscious. Students learn an introduction to the benefits of keeping these channels of communication open between the three selves. Become the Spiritual Warrior by focusing your attention toward God. Explore the spiritual qualities in yourself by attuning to the strength that is already inside of you to stand up as a spiritual being. Love can be looked at as the essence that brings or holds things together like the cells of a body are held together. Cells are "in love" with each other.
