Chatroom classes require Netscape Communicator 3.0 or above or Internet Explorer 3.0 or above with Java and JavaScript fully enabled. For Macintosh users, we highly recommend using Internet Explorer, as we have encountered numerous problems with students using Netscape on a Mac with this chatroom.


PTS online uses JPilot's jIRC applet to connect you to the PTSonline IRC server (www.pts.org:6667) and sends you to the channel that corresponds with your PTS online class. Your online name will be your first name and last initial as one word.
