FOUNDATIONAL VALUES AND EDUCATIONAL GOALS
The primary foundational values of the Seminary are:
- Each person is individualized Spirit, a Soul, on a journey of discovery of his or her
true nature, which is divine.
- The spiritual consciousness referred to as the Mystical Traveler exists within each
person and provides inner guidance and support for this journey. Through Seminary
courses, the student can become more aware of the Traveler Consciousness within and
its work, which includes releasing and dissolving whatever stands in the way of a
person's conscious knowledge of his or her divinity.
- Loving is the essence of Spirit and is the most important quality to develop and
nourish in the human consciousness.
- All knowledge exists within the human consciousness. Knowledge is awakened when
information is presented as a living experience.
- The process of spiritual growth and awareness involves continual practice.
The primary educational goals of the Seminary, in support of its foundational values, are:
- To provide a loving, nurturing environment for people of all races, creeds, colors, religions, and
nationalities to gather together to celebrate learning about Spirit.
- To provide high quality, experiential programs to students studying the MSIA Soul Awareness
Discourses to enhance their understanding of the process of Soul Transcendence, to expand their
consciousnesses, and to strengthen and deepen their spiritual awareness.
- To offer students a place to do their spiritual practice in an ongoing way and to be in fellowship with
others with similar spiritual interests and goals.
- To assist students in creating lives filled with loving, health, happiness, abundance, joy, and inner
peace.
- To provide a master's degree in theology to students who wish to gain a special level of mastery in the
spiritual teachings presented in MSIA.
- To provide spiritual education specifically designed for those who are ordained ministers in MSIA or
who are studying toward ordination in MSIA.
- To provide introductory classes to the general public to enhance its awareness of Spirit.
