MASTER OF SPIRITUAL SCIENCE
The purpose of the PTS master's degree program is to provide the student with an ongoing,
intensive program to study, practice, and experience the teachings of Soul Transcendence.
The course work is designed to encourage students to apply the teachings as a conscious
daily commitment. As they observe their progress, they can gain greater clarity of the
presence of Spirit in their everyday lives. Their awareness of themselves as a Soul is
increased, thus allowing them to live the essence of practical spirituality, which helps make
the path of Soul Transcendence an active, alive, and joyful process.
This is a two-year program, with students meeting one weekend a month for nine months
(usually October through June) for intensive course work. Homework between the
weekend classes allows students ample opportunity to practice and integrate the tools and
keys they learn in class.
Year One
CREATING THROUGH GRACE
In the higher realms, creation is still going on. In
the lower levels, however, creation is complete--or, at least,
is set in high degrees of possibility or probability. Those who
prophesy do so on what they foresee being highly probable. But
these things can be changed through what has traditionally been
called the grace of God. There is the possibility that you can,
by learning how to enter into the consciousness of grace, change
those life patterns that have been established as probable for
you.
-John-Roger
During Year One, Creating Through Grace, students gain greater
awareness of how they live their lives--physically, emotionally,
and mentally--and how they can bring these levels into greater
alignment and cooperation with their spiritual intention. In doing
this, students can increase their singleness of purpose so that,
regardless of outer circumstances, they can experience God as
their partner, and grace can be extended to them in greater ways.
Themes of the three quarters:
- Clarifying Your Intentions
- Clearing the Blocks
- Manifesting Your Intentions
The first year of course work includes the following six classes:
1. Spiritual Exercises
Students do two hours of spiritual exercises on both mornings of the weekend class. Spiritual exercises
are the primary spiritual practice recommended for those studying in MSIA, and they are vital to
students who seek to expand their awareness of who they are as spiritual beings.
2. Clearing the Body
Students use techniques such as breathing, chanting the HU tone, and forgiving judgments to release
imbalances that have been stored in the physical body. This creates a more receptive and relaxed
environment for experiencing more of the blessings of Spirit.
3. Clearing the Consciousness
Students apply basic spiritual keys such as acceptance, loving, and forgiveness to clear blocks in the
consciousness that prevent them from fully realizing the presence of Spirit in their lives. Muscle-testing
techniques are used to assist in clearing limiting beliefs and attitudes so that students can have more
freedom to live in alignment with their divine essence.
4. Creating Through Grace
This class provides a nurturing and safe environment in which students explore deeply how they
perceive themselves and how to expand their compassion and loving to embrace all aspects of
themselves. Through aligning their physical, emotional, mental and spiritual intentions, students learn to
make this inner alignment the source of their creativity and manifestation in the world.
5. Spiritual Warrior
Those who are on the spiritual path offered by MSIA are called to a high level of spiritual
responsibility. This course assists students in gaining greater spiritual strength as they learn to armor
themselves with their intention toward God.
6. Living In Who You Are
This course is designed to assist students in expanding their awareness of who they are as a divine
being and, through that, to attune more to their true essence.
Year Two
FULFILLING THE SPIRITUAL PROMISE
"The very life of that one called the Prince of Peace,
called the Beloved--that very one's life is an example of what
we must do to fulfill the spiritual promise to ourselves. We have
to come awake that we were born the Lord."
-John-Roger
During Year Two, Fulfilling the Spiritual Promise, students focus on aligning more
with the Christ and awakening more to the promise that they were "born the Lord."
Processes are designed to give students greater freedom in letting go of the past and
rediscovering the innocence of living in the present. As the course develops, students
move more fully into the Beloved, "where the Soul replaces the personality as the center
of consciousness and energy." The spiritual promise is then experienced as an ongoing,
living reality that one chooses into each day.
Themes of the three quarters:
- Erasing Personal History-Resolving past subconscious/unconscious issues
- Rediscovering Your Innocence
- Authentic Empowerment
The second year course work includes the following six classes:
1. Spiritual Exercises
Spiritual exercises, the primary practice for students of MSIA, are done on both
mornings of the weekend class to support students in continuing to awaken to the
greater reality that they are divine.
2. Body Regeneration
Students learn techniques (including the use of muscle-testing) to release imbalances
from the various physiological systems of the body and the psychic fields around the
body. Accessing spiritual assistance is a key part of clearing disturbances and restoring
balance, and students can apply the techniques and tools they learn in this class in their
daily lives.
3. Living the Spiritual Protection
This class takes the first-year Clearing the Consciousness class to a much deeper level.
Students learn to become more aware of the openings by which negativity is let into the
body or consciousness, and with that awareness, they learn to clear and then close these
openings.
4. Spiritual Warrior
Three areas that powerfully impact the human consciousness are money, sex, and
relationships. In this class, students do a process that assists them in healing these past
hurts and bringing greater maturity to these aspects of themselves. This class also
incorporates information and processes regarding S.E.'s, listening and praying
unceasingly.
5. Fulfilling the Spiritual Promise
This class is the central theme of the second year and involves in-depth work whereby
students can have more conscious experiences that they were "born the Lord." Much of
this class assists students in locating the origins in their consciousness of patterns that
have pulled them away from their divine nature. By using forgiveness and spiritual
assistance, students learn keys to return to the spiritual heart.
6. The Presence of Intention
This
class builds on the work that was done in the first year on intention.
Students work with their basic, conscious, and high selves in
creating a "spiritual marriage," which provides a solid foundation
for bringing all aspects of their consciousness into alignment
with their intentions.
